Rare Photo of Maryam Babangida and Princess Diana In 1989

Above is an old and rare photo of Maryam Babangida, wife of General Ibrahim Babangida, with Princess Diana of Wales, mother of Prince William and Prince Harry of the British royal family during an event at Tafawa Balewa Square, Surulere, Lagos, in 1989.

Eight years later, in the early hours of August 31, 1997, Princess Diana died in hospital after being injured in a car crash in a road tunnel in Paris, France.
