On the 15th of January, 1966, Nigeria had her first coup d’état which ushered in her military era. Below are the heads of states of Nigeria from 1966 till 1999.

  1. Thank you so very much for this.
    I have a theory that these head of states were too young to give our nation the kind of leadership it deserved hence our current situation. It will be interesting to know how young they actually were when they started to lead.
